Jonathan Lord MP welcomes rise in general practice workforce

Jonathan Lord MP has welcomed news that there are 40 more doctors, nurses and other patient care staff working in general practice in Woking. This includes roles such as dispensers, health care assistants, phlebotomists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, therapists and others.

Jonathan Lord MP welcomes the Chancellor to Woking

Jonathan Lord MP was delighted to welcome the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Jeremy Hunt MP, to Woking yesterday and to discuss with him the economic challenges and opportunities ahead. It was also a good chance to show the Chancellor Woking's revitalised town centre.

Jonathan Lord MP recently attended the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Citizens Advice Woking, who had have another busy and successful year giving excellent help and advice to thousands of local residents across a broad range of issues.

Last Saturday, Jonathan Lord MP attended an event hosted by the Surrey Minority Ethnic Forum (SMEF) on the importance of good mental health, and gave a vote of thanks to Surrey mental health charity Catalyst for compèring the session with great empathy and terrific expert advice.
