Last Saturday, Jonathan Lord MP attended Woking Music Festival's Celebration Showcase, a celebration of the musical vitality of Woking and the surrounding area.
Commenting after the event, Jonathan Lord MP said: “After all the difficulties of the past eighteen months it was wonderful to be able to join everyone at the Celebration Showcase Evening at Christ Church. The young musicians played their pieces absolutely beautifully and I think we were privileged to hear some real stars of the future. I congratulate the Woking Music Festival officers and committee on organising this hugely enjoyable and successful event, and I thank them for the support and the opportunities to perform that they continue to give to our exceptionally talented young musicians.”
