Jonathan Lord MP, in his position as Parliamentary Representative on the Surrey Military Appeals Committee (SMAC), hosted a meeting in Parliament today between Surrey MPs and officials involved with the Surrey Civilian Military Partnership Board.
In a wide-ranging discussion, the meeting covered the Armed Forces Covenant, the Armed Forces Act 2021 and wider subjects such as support for the children of armed forces personnel, schemes to support serving personnel, and the veteran hubs that have been established across Surrey.
