Jonathan Lord MP met last week with National Highways to discuss noise pollution on the M25 and the delay to the A3/M25 Wisley interchange upgrade.
National Highways are currently undertaking a trial on the M1 to see whether road noise is reduced by different treatments and their durability. The trial is expected to run until 2022. The results of this trial will help National Highways decide how to manage concrete surfaces on its network in the future.
Jonathan will continue to monitor this situation very closely indeed.
