An update from Jonathan about the RMT strike

Jonathan believes that the current strikes taking place on South Western Railway are completely unnecessary and a disgraceful disruption of services to all those train users who rely on them.

He has written to the relevant parties urging a resumption of talks and an immediate end to the strike. Rail workers deserve a fair deal, but it is not fair to let the trade unions undermine the livelihoods of others.
