Jonathan attended the Woking Volunteer of the Year Awards 2019 at the WWF Living Planet Centre, where representatives of more than 20 local charities gathered to celebrate the achievements of residents who have gone the extra mile in serving our community.
Congratulations must go to Tom Ladais who was the winner of the Volunteer of the Year Award for 2019. Through his work at CornerHouse, Tom assists staff in delivering wellbeing courses and regularly supports groups whose members are battling anxiety and depression.
Special mention must also go to Tim Nugent-Young who was recognised for his work with male outpatients at Woking and Sam Beare Hospices by being named Young Volunteer of the Year.
