Jonathan Lord MP recently attended a meeting with the Surrey branch of the Royal College of Nursing where he listened carefully to first-hand accounts from nurses of their contributions throughout the coronavirus pandemic. Jonathan was delighted to be joined at the meeting by his MP colleague Dr Ben Spencer, Member of Parliament for Runnymede and Weybridge, who also shared some very interesting insights on our NHS.
Commenting on the meeting, Jonathan said, 'It was a wonderful opportunity to speak with a wide range of local nurses and I thank the Royal College of Nursing for organising this meeting. We thank our nurses for their amazing contributions to our NHS, particularly during the toughest times of the coronavirus pandemic, and I look forward to raising several of the issues discussed with Health Ministers.’
