Jonathan Lord MP attends climate debate

Jonathan Lord MP took part in a debate on climate change last week, organised by Woking Environment Action (WEAct).

 

The debate was chaired by Dr Stephen Cornelius, WWF UK's Chief Advisor on Climate Change, and included the following panellists:

 

  • Cllr Ayesha Azad, Leader of Woking Borough Council and Surrey County Councillor
  • Colin Brown, Interim Head of Sustainability at McLaren Racing
  • Cllr Will Forster, Woking Borough Councillor and Surrey County Councillor
  • Jonathan Lord MP, Member of Parliament for Woking.

 

Jonathan Lord MP commented, "Now that COP26 has passed, the UK should continue to affirm its position as a global leader in tackling climate change and must continue pressing leaders around the world on the importance of lowering emissions and of protecting our environment."
