Strengthening local NHS services

Locally, I am working work to increase the number of GP appointments and reduce waiting times by securing and expanding Woking Community Hospital with a brand new Diagnostic Hub, which will reduce 30,000 diagnostic trips to Ashford and St.Peters Hospital through expanding the range of care and services. 

This is alongside the Government's delivery of a record £166 billion funding for the NHS, including money for 5,000 extra hospital beds than previously planned and 800 more ambulances, to discharge more hospital patients and clear the pandemic backlog.
