Rishi Sunak Visits Woking Community Hospital with Jonathan Lord MP

Jonathan was delighted to welcome Rishi Sunak to our amazing Woking Community Hospital to look at the building progress of our NEW diagnostic centre that is set to open this year. 

 

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has talked up the potential of Woking’s soon-to-open Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) to cut NHS waiting times locally.

The CDC, granted planning permission in December, will be one of 160 such centres opened since July 2021 when it opens later this year at Woking Community Hospital.

It will offer an array of diagnostic services such as MRI and CT scans, reducing the need for Woking patients to travel to larger hospitals such as Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals.

Jonathan Stands Up For Our Green Spaces
